Seckman High Students Fill Shipping Container in Shoe Drive for Classmate

Students at Seckman High School in Jefferson County recently filled a shipping container with more than 800 bags of donated shoes as part of a community effort known as "Miles for Menner." The drive benefits the family of Seckman freshman Jax Menner, who has battled leukemia for 13 years.

The Fox C-6 School District reported that the donations were collected from community members over a period of several weeks. Students at the school loaded the bags into the container, filling it to capacity.

District officials said the shoe drive involved participation from students, staff, and residents across the Fox C-6 community.
