Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales to Visit Festus for First Time in Decades
The Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale full hitch and wagon are scheduled to appear in Festus on Thursday, July 23. The team is set to stop in front of City Hall at 6 p.m. for a Folds of Honor presentation before traveling down Main Street.
Following the presentation, the Clydesdales will make stops at several establishments along Main Street to deliver cases of beer, with the final delivery planned at Capt Z's on Bailey Road. City officials said they believe the last time the full Clydesdale team visited Festus was in 1955.
The Folds of Honor presentation is part of the national nonprofit organization's mission to provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. The public is welcome to view the hitch along the route.
