Festus High cross country meet closes Crites Park to vehicles

A large Festus High School cross country meet is being held today at Crites Park, and the park is closed to all vehicle traffic, the City of Festus said.

Officials said drivers should expect congestion, school buses, athletes and families in the area. The city asked residents to postpone walks or other visits to the park until after 2 p.m.
